I did NOT post the "you have to see the humor in this" thread. Someone has hacked the board, possibly in retaliation for CW's switch from the old threaded listing to the new.

Not really all that difficult......
I think the unhyphenated Gibbo appeared before the hyphenated one.....

I promise I won't do it again

Now how do I cancel this rego...?

So what are you trying to prove? Retaliation because I didn't make the switch to the CS-BB?

Impersonating someone else on a message board is about as low as a person can go.

That's not a hack. That's just a registration that is very close to your own name.

aah, Dave... Did you notice the date on that post???

Are you sure you didn't post it two years ago when they blew us off, the first time? It says, Dave Gibson Guest. That's an old post, when "guests" were allowed to post. So, I looked at the date, it was posted in 2003.

How's that Merlot holding out there, buddy? Myself, I could use a glass. Went to the races tonight to take pics and left my camera home.

Had a grand sail, though. 15 kt easterlies while Tboomers built in the west. What a grand night it was... sure wish I'd have gotten it on film....

doh

Nope. I registered twice, once as "Dave Gibson" (home) and again at work as "Dave-Gibson" (because the BB software wouldn't let me register again as "Dave Gibson". But somehow this idiot managed to do so.

Dave,

Note as Tim said, the date was 2003.

And since the name was already in use, that's why you couldn't register it again.
