For those of you that are not in the tropics. You can use this with chopped or minced clams that can be bought in most grocery stores

Conch Fritters

1 cup Ground or finely chopped conch
1 egg
¼ cup bread crumbs
Season to taste. Whatever kind you like, old bay, garlic, salt & pepper, ECT…
Mix all ingredients together. Spoon drop them in hot frying pan with oil. Fry until golden brown.
Serve with cocktail sauce or a half Mayonnaise/ half mustard sauce with a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon juice.

Enjoy

oh, yummm

I just had a conversation about these the other day!!
Glad I'm almost done cooking!
I've never tried these but can't wait!
I've also never been to the Keys but that changes, too, in January!!

thanks for the recipe!

I love Conch Fritters! I like a little green and/or red pepper chopped up in mine; a place on Nassau made them like this and I liked the extra little kick.

Anyone know where you can get conch if you are not in the islands? They don't have it in the frozen or seafood section of my grocery store
