How does one..or two even..get a photo into a post? Have I failed to read the instructions somewhere? I'm stopping, at least, to ask directions...must get gettin' old.

While in the posting dialog, Click on the IMG button.

This will put the opening tag in place.

copy and paste the url of your pic, immediately behind the IMG tag.

Alt + P will close the tag.

Or, you can do it manually using this format, substituting square brackets for parentheses.

(img)http://www.writebyte.net/Images/TWBDodgerB.jpg(/img)

nets this, when used with square brackets:

http://www.writebyte.net/Images/TWBDodgerB.jpg

Repeat to do it again...

cheers.

See, this is the problem with this new board format. Tim posted a photo that's waaaaay to large, and caused the margins of the whole thread to be set waaaaay off to the right. In order to read the first post, I had to scroll waaaay to the right to get it all.

Too bad this software doesn't resize photos.

I did that just for you, Dave. See, life is good, it fits on my screen...

another way to do it is to first paste the url into your message.

Then, highlight the entire url and click the Img button. This will automatically put the opening and closing commands around the URL.

You can also get a 'tool tip' by hovering your mouse over any of the commands.
