I have a Spectra Catalina 300 with MPC3000 control and Zbrane. Its been fantastic. For almost three years I have never turned it off, or pickled it, and it has run flawlessly until a couple of weeks ago when the saltwater pump failed. This should be a straightforward and inexpensive repair. Spectra's service is excellent too.
However, many boat builders are no longer fitting them as oe because Spectra refuses to do deals with them, or offer sweeteners.
The most amazing thing is the low power consumption. It makes almost 12 gallons an hour, and uses 12 amps when running, that's a gallon per amp. Most watermakers won't come close to that. It makes it feasible to make water using only solar and/or wind power.
