Is there snorkeling/scuba diving anywhere in the Darwin coastline area?

Probably not, salt water crocs are everywhere. It's not safe.

Yes you can dive in Darwin harbour, you have to time it with the tides, the tides are around 4 meters so the water is not all that clear. Outside of Darwin then you are really taking a big chance, if the crocs don't eat you the sharks will!!!! There are very few swimming spots in the NT.
