Ahoy there.
I have sailed for over 30 years. Due to a bad back I quit sailing 6 years ago and it's driving me crazy!
I know..... another person asking for help selecting a boat. But I respect other members views.
I am looking for a coastal cruiser that is easy to handle since my wife has very little sailing experience. It will be just the 2 of us. We will spend 2 or 3 mths. aboard doing the ICW/Bahamas route every year. We may go further...but since I've done that before that isn't a main factor on boat selection.
I'm looking at the above boats but would consider others. Any suggestions? Please nothing larger than 35'. I do like the C&C 35 Landfall. I plan on installing electric winches and a windlass no matter what boat I select.
I hope Jeff H. has a comment on the boats I listed above. I hope others will pipe in also. Budget for the boat is $45000 max. and yes I plan to put aside $40000 available for up-grades and maintenance. I am not interested in a project boat. Something that has been well maintained and up-graded.
Cheers, Allan
