We've just arrived in Turkey after a good trip from Thailand to Turkey, via the Maldives, Oman, Yemen, Eritrea, Sudan and Egypt. Wonderfully nice people, amazing things to see, but lots of dust and wind in the Red Sea. Never had a single problem or hassle until we got to Egypt and did the tourist thing.. the Touts are horrible!!

Where's Billabong (http://www.creative-cruising.com/Billabong-Tracking/Wheres-Billabong.html) contains recent position reports/photos of the Red Sea leg. We also have Google Earth Files detailing the anchorage and GPS tracks for the entire trip.
