"Babies Aboard," I think by Gwenda Cornell (wife of Jimmy). When my son was 9 months we left Maine and sailed to New Zealand ~ 2 years. He was fine on the boat, I had him on my back for shoreside excursions, and it was great to be with your child 24 hours a day! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I have to admit Chris was a fairly docile child, not at all hyperactive, which was a blessing. He was an instant ambassador anywhere we went, and even customs/immigration officers with reputations for being tough were assuaged by his presence.
