This is just a quick note to let everyone who is interested in designing a self-steering system using a trim tab. Many of you are familiar with part 1 concerning the design and building of the trim tab, whereas Part 2 is focused more on connecting it to a simple autopilot and a wind vane. Some of the concepts were tested over 1,000 miles of ocean sailing and accumulatively we've spent 18 months and many miles at sea using our trim tab.
