Whether you prescribed to his personal and political beliefs or not, Todd was one of the most generous people I've met and I count both him and Nicole as good friends. Rob & I sincerely loved them even though we often held differing opinions about things.
Nicole is lost but coping as best she can. Her and Todd's family are being very supportive. Todd sister is buying the boat so it will stay in the family and Nicole will be moving in with her brother in Sacramento until she gets back on her feet. Being an ER nurse, she should have no trouble finding a job.
For anyone nearby, there will be a celebration of Todd's life on this Sunday at noon at Harbor Cove in Ventura. It's the beach at the end of Spinnaker Drive. They will walk along the beach, a place Todd loved, as part of the celebration. Any and all are welcome. The organization Todd was working for will be planting a tree in his name at the Channel Islands State Park as well.
