First I was hot on Sailomat but they changed the design and couldn't or wouldn't explain how, also upped the price. At the time I only had text ability. Then thought it would be Monitor but watching others do the installation made me a wee bit reticent, price was nice though and the reputation also. Gentleman offered me a good deal on a pre-owned, never used Aries. One of the later versions. I'd skipped them before due to budgeting but for the price? Well....couldn't complain. Had to order the tiller kit, divest the wheel steering kit and get four stern mounts plus buy eight nuts, lockwashers and bolts oh yes and shade blue loctite. Total investment for a set up that included two water paddles, two wind blades and three spare breakaways just a touch over $2000.

But no installation or operator's manual was available????

Looked at a few others in the yard, did some measuring, laid out the parts and sure enough Slot A did fit in Tab B etc. Started yesterday afternoon will be finished by tomorrow morning only because I took some time off today to do other jobs.

I can't remember any machine easier to work with or install since my 57 Chev with the bored out 283! Can't wait to try it in the water. So far you really don't need written instructions.

At this point my vote would be thumbs up....
