Please list and tell me about any movies related to sailing, boating or life by the sea. I prefer comedies but will watch anything. My favorite is "Father Goose" with Carry Grant. I also like "Captain Ron" and "Summer Rental".

Dead Calm with Nicole Kidman. Very good movie!

Dead Calm is a good one for the suspense lovers and between the sailboat & Nicole (and Sam Neill for the ladies), plenty of nice things to ogle at

A good one for the adrenalin junkies is Wind with Matthew Modine about winning the America's Cup

For some historical insight into the predecessor of Vendee & Volvo, look no further than Deep Blue which is a documentary about the Golden Globe Race, the first round the world, non-stop, single handed race.

Lastly, for the inspirational, look into Morning Light by Disney about some young sailors competing in the TRANSPAC. Truly a fun movie !
