If you were to ask me to name my favorite place, I might be inclined to say Bucks Harbor, Maine. We sailed there with another family when our children were still young. We worked hard to reach it and, once there, couldn’t get enough of the hot outdoor showers, the nearby reversing falls, or the mussels we pulled off the rocks and steamed back on the boat. Then again, last spring during a Seawind Catamaran rendezvous in the Golfo de California, I woke up early one morning convinced that I was in the most beautiful place in the world. Pelicans dove for baitfish as our four boats sat in calm water surrounded by jagged rock walls. Ashore, green cactus grew boldly in the gravelly brown soil, and a one-lane dirt road wound enticingly up into the hills.
What’s your favorite landfall? The best place you’ve visited? Add an entry to this thread and tell the rest of us about it. After all, destinations, along with storms, are the root of all salty tales, and they’re best when shared.
Now, speaking of special places, did I tell you about the windy night we spent anchored behind the reef at Tobago Cays and the heavenly blue water that greeted us the next morning?
Hopefully bali, where i am heading in about a month for first overseas trip in many many years, although i tend to love going anywhere a bit different away from home
Hotels in Dammam
Historical places are my weaknesses, i love to go there where i can see some points which have their own strong historical backgrounds, also natural beauty like mountains, water falls, animals are included in favourite lists.
Nice places. I want that place as my destination place where the law would be follow as the way it should be followed. Every country is having their own laws but applied laws are not properly understandable by the general public. Due to which a lot of criminal records are being in process. I just want a place full of peace and organized environment.
My favorite destination is Kerala especially the place kodaikanal...two times i visited there and that was outstanding...everyone will enjoy the place for sure...there are several best resorts in kodaikanal for perfect accommodation as well...i visited lots of tourist spots there like kodaikanal valley, kodai lake, echo point etc...really i got a life time memory through the trip...
