Default Any experience with synthetic boards for dock

My sail club is planning on replacing our old wooden, free floating dock. We're considering building the new dock with recycled plastic boards. Anyone with experience as to how synthetic materials hold up over several years of use? I'd be interested in any feedback in this process. Thanks... Foster

    Foster,
I've used a lot of the synthetic boards around wet areas and have had good success. My only warning to you is be careful as they get very hot on bare feet...I would suggest a light color to keep a bit cooler.
