Is anyone out there using a neoprene type flooring material on their cabin floor? Plumbers and other contractors have a product that they use in customers homes that looks like neoprene but it acts like a super-sponge so it sucks up spilled water but feels pretty dry to walk on. A wholesaler of the product tells me they sell a lot of it to boaters but I've never seen a boat using it.
I'd bet they're selling to guys with center consoles or some other sort of open boat. Down below in a sailboat all that water would have to be like a petri dish for mold. Leave the boat closed up for a week and the smell would be atrocious.
