S/V SiyaSinana is an Admiral 40 blue water catamaran with new equipment, custom upgrades and luxuries that make cruising and living on board an experience unavailable almost anywhere else. Purchased new and built in Cape Town SA in 2007, she has taken us across the Atlantic on an epic 8100 nm 47 day non-stop voyage to Annapolis. She rides so nice, not once did we have to even store the coffee pot or china, as they sat happily on the counter tops the entire journey and in all conditions. Our cruising areas since then have been east coast of the US, the Keys, extensive stays in the Bahamas and beyond.
It is an Owner’s Version, one owner, never chartered and a meticulously maintained cat with more equipment and live-aboard amenities than you will find in any boat of this size anywhere at this price. Most of the equipment and upgrades were done in 2011 and 2012. To us, it is all about comfort, safety, navigating and being able to cruise in luxury for long periods of time offshore, away from docks; on a fast boat easily handled by 1 or 2 and equipped with state of the art communication capabilities. We hope the pictures and descriptions assist you in understanding that this cat has no peer. If you are a couple or a family ready for a turnkey, fully loaded, luxurious blue water catamaran where everything works and there is nothing to fix, contact us here or email to garyateckisrealtydotcom.
While many of the vessels in the anchorage run their engines every night and every morning for hot water and electricity, SiyaSinana—with her brand new, enlarged Lifeline AGM battery bank, new wind generator, solar panels and on-demand propane hot water—often goes 3 days without charging or even starting an engine. Washer/dryer, turbo A/C and heat, satellite TV, not-to-be-beat communication and internet systems, combined with one of the most luxurious dry and protected cockpits make life on board everything cruisers dream of.
Making 25 gallons of fresh water per hour allows us the option to choose fresh water head flush (salt water flush can be rather stinky) and fresh water deck wash (washing topsides with salt water is a no-go for us). The dinghy was new in 2009, the generator was new in 2012; the 2-drawer fridge (the biggest and nicest fridge we’ve ever seen) was just put in.
