    How did you make out retrieving the series drogue? I am making one with 132 cones for our boat and have just read it is almost impossible to get the Drogue back on board.

    Can you comment.

    Before you go and purchase either, I would suggest trying to heave to. We have found this to be very comfortable and very safe in strong gales with over 40' seas in the middle of the north Atlantic. We also heave to while coastal cruising to park our boat for a lunch break, etc. Every boat is different, so you will need to ascertain this for yourself.
