Ok, here goes a broadside...
(in no particular order)

* The Bounty w/ Mel Gibson & Anthony Hopkins (Caution: R rated for beaucoup tataa's)

* Master & Commander- Far side of the world w/ Russell Crow, (Caution: might get you hooked on the book series by Patrick O'Brian, but they're better than any vid IMHO)

* Crimson Tide w/ Denzel Washington & Gene Hackman...hey, a SSBN is a "boat"!

* Pirates of Tortuga, ain't seen it yet matey, but will report wen I does, avast!

* Waterworld w/ Kevin Costner, grab some dirt.

* Kill Cruise, ok for a foreign flick (all english)

* The hunt for Red October, ya, another sub flick, but very good!

* Das Boot, ok...so I like submarines!

These in addition to the other fine movies mentioned above, enjoy the winter!
